CSC Today Highlights 0.1: Common Services Centres (CSC) program is an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), Government of India. CSCs are the access points for delivering various electronic services to villages in India. Thereby contributing to a digitally and financially inclusive society.
A CSC is an IT enables front-end delivery point for Government, private and social sector services to rural citizens of India in an integrated and seamless manner. A Common Service Centre is managed by Local unemployed, educated youth providing opportunities for direct and indirect employment.

Common Service Centres scheme is one of the mission mode projects under the Digital India Programme. It is a pan-India network catering to the country’s regional, geographic, linguistic, and cultural diversity, thus enabling the Government’s mandate of a socially, financially, and digitally inclusive society.
